Eau de Indignant Death
Subtle notes of freshly dug grave in cold cemetery fog at dawn when casket springs open and cadaver drops and rolls through grassy morning dew. The sudden scent of fear sweat on the soon to be unemployed grave digger’s brow, slightly mixed with the tart inaudible buzz of Covid death and weak notes of embalming fluid, maggot eggs and decay - a mocking yet playful reminder of the futility of it all, with fresh moss lending a patina of hope to the otherwise subtly oppressive miasma, albeit slightly tempered by hints of fresh coelenterate excrement, overturned soil, and a small but deadly final fart upon the corpse’s initial thud of impact
Love the article! I've seen a lot of perfume content where only the notes are discussed, then the next recommended fragrance gets the same treatment. But simply describing the notes in such a fast and simplistic way does not give insight to how feels to wear the fragrance. The only content I really enjoy are the deep dives that discuss the transportive imagery and the metaphorical "wear experience" of the fragrance, such as the Youtube Channel Seldomly Often.
